Word Of The Week: Hauberk

Word Of The Week: Hauberk

This week’s vintage dictionary discovery is the word Hauberk 🖤

Either Hau’berk or Haw’berk, this is the name for a medieval coat of mail 🏰  I chose to pair this page with an antique image of a tortoise skeleton as he looks like he is wearing a suit of armour!

Each of the prints are unique, with the surrounding text becoming part of the artwork and preserving a small piece of linguistic history. Check out my shop for more prints 🖤
